Find motorcycle CBT training in East London
Are you trying to book your CBT training in East London or close by in London, North West London and South East London? Here at BookCBTNow we are one of the most trusted sources of online booking for motorcycle training companies. We can help you find your local training company and help you get your compulsory basic training started. Completing your 'Compulsory Basic Training' CBT test will allow you to ride any scooter, moped, electric motorbike, 50cc moped or 125cc motorbike of your choice. All you'll need to do is get a provisional UK license, suitable clothing and then book your CBT.
How do I complete my CBT in East London?
Your CBT test in East London is training that you must complete before you are able to ride independently. If you are safe to ride on the road unaccompanied you will receive a CBT test certificate. Whether you pass or fail your CBT test will be determined by the instructor who will be training you on the day. If the trainer doesn't think you are ready to be riding alone you will be asked to come back for additional training until the instructor feels you are safe to ride on the road.
Is a CBT certificate valid for 2 years?
Once you have completed your CBT training in East London your certificate will be valid for 2 years. If you carry on with your training and take a full motorcycle test then you will no longer need to renew your CBT. If you dont then you will need to retake your CBT every 2 years. This re-take is called an experienced CBT and some motorcycle training schools will list this as a separate course with different pricing. So if you are booking a CBT for the first time then make sure you book the right one.
How much is the cost of motorcycle CBT training?
The price varies depending on which motorcycle training company you take your CBT test with, but in East London or the closest towns of London, North West London and South East London will typically be between £160 and £200. There are four main things that affect the price:
- Bike hire. Not all CBTs include the price of the bike hire so make sure you check if it is included in the price.
- Experienced or beginners CBT. If you've done your CBT before you can book an experienced CBT which usually costs less. This is because it will be shorter as you will already have been through all of the basics. Only do this if you have done at least 1 CBT and are confident riding your motorcycle or scooter.
- Clothing and equipment hire. This includes your safety helmet, jacket, gloves and boots. Once again it may not be included in the price, so check first.
- Collision damage waiver. This is an insurance that will be offered to you before your training. It means that if you damage the motorcycle or scooter during your training then you will not have to pay for the repairs. It typically costs between £10 - £20 but is well worth having as repairs are much more than that.
Don't try to simply get the cheapest price, the quality of the training is the most important thing. Quality training will one day save your life.
